Ah, April...once again you're here with your rain, and your Daylight Savings Time (which is pointless) and the rush towards May. Damn, this semester went fast. Things have been going alright. I heard about this job site that I'm going to give a try and see if it pays better then what I have. Granted, there are a lot of jobs out there that pay better, but it's all about applying myself, right?
Recently, in between school and the chore that it is to work at the community center, I found myself playing Dark Cloud 2 yet again, which is kinda sad, seeing as how I got the game about two years ago. On the other hand, I'm doing a lot better at it this time around than last time with a Dryer Gun and 2 True Battle Wrenches for the win thus far. In addition, my photography level is almost at 3. The fact that there are a whopping 81 ideas lying around to be photographed is a bit overwhelming. Ultimately, the plan is to pimp out my Ridepod, but getting exp shouldn't be hard at all. The game is kinda slow, but once you get that camera and learn the gist of combat, you're good to go. Many people (especially those that have played the first game) find this to be a true sequal, one that improves over the flaws of the first (weapons breaking and disappearing, more Georama freedom and more diverse weapons) and brings new things to the table (photography, interesting mini-games), so all in all, it gets a 9 from me.
As for the horror listed above, the other day at McDonalds, we saw the craziest thing ever. There were these two sorority girls whose faces were covered with this vomit that looked as if a pumpkin pie and the Kool-Aid man had their way with their faces in anger. They were going around, asking people for their numbers for proof of their humiliation. Seriously, if you wanted to do that, why not abuse somewhere else? I was about to swear off the only drink worth getting without your throat being burned (no, it's not water, but Hi-C!)...well, it's not my problem. It's those girls who have to deal with a future of their faces being covered in something, not me.
Coming Soon: Another McDonald's Story (yes, that one is lively at all hours of the night).
